15 funded hours
Our Meadows nursery is for children aged 3-5 years. Their government funding starts from the beginning of the school term after their third birthday.
Children attending Meadows will have 15 hours of funded education per week (taken over at least three days).
Funded hours are available during school term time (for 38 weeks).
All sessions are subject to availability. Please discuss your child’s session needs with our Reception staff.
Additional funded hours:
Some parents can claim an additional 15 hours of government funded education – this is subject to certain conditions. For full details see the website www.childcarechoices.gov.uk or see “Tax Free Childcare Choices Booklet ” Useful Information – For Parents.
Some children taking the additional funded hours can take up to 23 funded hours stretched across 48 weeks – please ask at Reception for details.
Payable hours:
Any hours taken over the 15 funded hours (or 15 funded and 15 additional hours) are chargeable to the parents.
Charges are currently as follows (they are likely to increase from April 2024) We accept all child care vouchers.
3 hour session 9:00-12:00 OR 13:00 – 16:00 £16.38 for each 3 hour session
1 hours session 8:00-9:00, OR 12:00 – 13:00, OR 16:00 – 17:00, OR 17:00 – 18:00 £5.46 for each 1 hour session
A cooked meal will be £2.53 from 1st September 2023
Holiday Club
We usually offer a Holiday Club during 10 weeks outside of term time. All these sessions are chargeable (unless taking your funded hours as stretched).
