Pastures Nursery offers a safe and nurturing environment where children explore, try new things, and develop as individuals. Priority is placed on emotional wellbeing and building early relationships that support confidence, resilience and independence.
The Pastures offers care and education for children aged 3 months – 3 years. Fees are payable for this facility and we accept all child care vouchers.
All families are welcome – individuality and diversity is celebrated.
There are 12 places for children aged 3 months – 2 years and 20 places for children aged 2 years – 3 years.
Places are offered for half or full days, 48 weeks of the year between 8:00 and 18:00. Parents are required to book a minimum of two half days per week. One day only bookings are not accepted.
A limited number of 2 year old places are funded by the government (15 hrs per week). 2 year funded sessions are taken as 3 mornings (8.00 – 13.00) or 3 afternoons (13.00-18.00) per week term time only. Please see the link below to apply for 2 year funding.
Each child has her/his own key-worker team to ensure continuity of care.
The staff/child ratio is:
1:3 for children aged 3 months – 2 years
1:4 for children aged 2 years – 3 years
Children who attend the Pastures are welcome to attend for an occasional extra session when vacancies exist.

Mornings (8:00-12:50) £45.45
Afternoons (13:00-18:00) £39.47
