Pastures Nursery offers a safe and nurturing environment where children explore, try new things, and develop as individuals. Priority is placed on emotional wellbeing and building early relationships that support confidence, resilience and independence.
The Pastures offers care and education for children aged 3 months – 3 years. There are 12 places for children aged 3 months – 2 years and 20 places for children aged 2 years – 3 years. All families are welcome – individuality and diversity is celebrated.
Places are offered for half or full days, 48 weeks of the year between 8:00 and 18:00. Our minimum booking is for two half days per week on different days, as we have found that children who only attend on one day per week find it difficult to settle.
If you are eligible for the working parents entitlement to 15hrs funding for children 9months+, this will be offered as one full day and one half day per week. You may select additional paid for sessions around the funded sessions.
We accept Childcare Vouchers and are part of the government Tax-Free Childcare Scheme.

A limited number of 2 year old places are funded by the government (15 hrs per week). 2 year funded sessions are taken as 3 mornings (8.00 – 13.00) or 3 afternoons (13.00-18.00) per week term time only.

Each child has her/his own key-worker team to ensure continuity of care.
The staff/child ratio is:
1:3 for children aged 3 months – 2 years
1:4 for children aged 2 years – 3 years
Children who attend the Pastures are welcome to attend for an occasional extra session when a space exists.
